Interview with Barbara Jane Reyes in Asian American Press

A good literary week at Asian American Press.

My interview with the always engaging Barbara Jane Reyes is up. This time around she answers questions about her latest book Diwata, her artistic process and upcoming projects, as well as her advice for emerging writers. She also talks a little about Doveglion Press, which I highly recommend writers examine.

In upcoming months, I have some wonderful interviews with Patrick Hayashi, Oliver de la Paz, Jerome Lu, Andre Yang, Edward del Rosario, and Laura Manivong. I also recently had a great interview with poet Ravi Shankar. A big thanks to everyone who's been sharing their experience and perspective with us.

Additionally, fellow Lao American writer Saymoukda Vongsay just finished interviewing Beau Sia in her ongoing Pushing the Pen series, who's already covered Guante, Jenny Yang, and others. She has several other great interviews planned ahead. Be sure to check them out!
