Lao American speculative theater coming to Minnesota on October 20th. If these preliminary readings are successful, Kung Fu Zombies vs. Cannibals will go into a full production! Written by Saymoukda Duangphouxay Vongsay, this is a staged reading funded by the Mu Performing Arts/Jerome Foundation New Performance Program. Music is provided by Akiem Elisra

SYNOPSIS: Modern civilization has collapsed beyond recognition and the earth is littered by zombies and cannibals. Two women from opposite ends of the world kill their way to salvation. Framed under the Five Buddhist tenets, their journey is told through an amalgamation of severed heads, forced kisses, human steaks, and a chorus of thugged-out monks.
