Lao American Horror Theater discussed on KFAI

Lao American horror playwright Saymoukda Vongsay and her team with the upcoming Mu Performing Arts production of Kung Fu Zombies vs. Cannibals discuss the play on the September 4th edition of KFAI's Art Matters show.

During the interview KFAI asked Randy Reyes the following:
KFAI: How different is [Kung Fu Zombies vs Cannibals] from Miss Saigon?
Randy: It's the alternative.

Over on Facebook, Vongsay said: "Instead of seeing a musical that hyper-sexualizes and glamorizes prostitution, and uses war as merely a backdrop to a stupid love story, come to KFZ and see powerhouse queer Lao women chop off zombie heads to a hip hop score spun live by DJ Kool Akiem."

Good enough for me. Go, Mooks, go!
