International Southeast Asian Film Festival: November 21-22, 2015

Save the date!

I'll see you at the I-SEA (International Southeast Asian Film Festival) at New People Cinema (1746 Port Street) in San Francisco on November 21-22. The opening night gala is November 20th at Artists' Television Access.

This event is being brought to you by the Diasporic Vietnamese Artists Network (DVAN). DVAN's aim is to promote artists from the Vietnamese Diaspora whose work in literature, visual art, film and performance art enriches our communities and strengthens ties between Vietnamese across the globe. We undertake to support this body of work through cultural events, exhibits and publications that explore connections between art and society.

NEW PEOPLE is the 20,000-sqft entertainment complex that is produced and managed by NEW PEOPLE, Inc., which promotes the latest examples of Japanese popular culture expressed though film, art, fashion, and various events. Located in the heart of historical San Francisco's Japantown since 2009, NEW PEOPLE has become a unique must-see attraction of the city's cultural landscape.
