As this is only the second Lao horror movie in the 116-year history of cinema, there's really no proven track record for techniques to get Lao and non-Lao audiences, so it will be interesting to see how the community responds to Shaw's work. But from all of the initial trailers, this film looks like it will have no problem taking off.
